Financial Report
The leadership and Campus Minister of the Catholic Community at Hopkins strongly believe that materials and monies are given to us for the support of the community, especially our religious and spiritual activities, but our social activities as well. We are additionally committed to making sure that special attention be given to the poor and needy, especially in our local areas.
Each week we, therefore, offer a brief summary of how monies, donated through the Sunday offering in particular, are used in keeping with the commitments clearly defined in our mission statement (see the home page of this website for our mission statement).
Each year, we begin the new academic year with what is called a "zero" balance, meaning that monies remaining in our back account from the last (Spring 2009) semester, have been used to purchase maintenance materials and upkeep supplies for use over the summer. So, our first report to you on our accountability for offerings given, will follow our Freshman Orientation Weekend and our first Masses of the new academic year, beginning Sunday, September 6, 2009.

As of November 14, 2009, our bank shows a balance of $ 385.00 in our account, as the result of offerings from our recent liturgies and expenses, especially for food and supplies for Newman Night activities. There also have been some cleaning/maintenance expenses for the upkeep of the Newman Center. Thank you for all of your sacrifice and generosity. Father Ryan
