Fall Retreat: "Vocare"We'll hold our annual 12-hour-long fall retreat from 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20 to 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21 at the Newman House. This year's fall retreat theme is "Vocare," after the Latin word meaning "to call." Please contact Kate Flores at kate.flores@jhu.edu for more information.
Men's and Women's Group Meetings
The next men's and women's group meetings will be held at the Newman House on Saturday, November 21. The women's group meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., and the men's group meeting will be at 7:00 p.m.
Multicultural Mass and Potluck
The 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, November 22 will be a multicultural Mass. We'll have hymns, readings, and petitions sung and said in various languages. Also, we'll have a multicultural potluck at the basement of the IFC following Mass! If you'd like to assist in the Mass and/or the potluck, please contact Mariadina DiGennaro at mdigenn1@jhu.edu.
Interfaith Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner
We'll host our annual interfaith Thanksgiving potluck dinner from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Glass Pavilion on Sunday, November 22! Other groups that will join us include the Jewish Students Association, the Hopkins Christian Fellowship, the Muslim Students Association, and the Reformed University Fellowship. If you're interested in cooking mashed potatoes, yams, or turkeys, please contact Mary O'Grady at mogrady3@jhu.edu.
Christmas Party Potluck Dinner
We'll hold a Christmas party potluck dinner at the basement of the IFC after the 5:30 p.m. Mass on Sunday, December 6. We'll also exchange our Secret Santa gifts at this time.
