Welcome to The Movie Database!

Welcome to The Movie Database, created by Nicole Howie and Omar F. Zaidan as a final project for Dr. David Yarowsky's Fall 2004 course Database Systems at Johns Hopkins University. This project enables easy access to a variety of information regarding movies released in the United States in the time period 1993-1998 and the artists who have worked on them. It also has data regarding MPAA Ratings, weekly box office sales, award ceremonies and award nominations, as well as weekly rankings. It features many helpful tools that enable the user to search for, insert or update entries, as well as extract useful information.
